Welcome!

Hello!  Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year!

American Sign Language I, II and III are a set of courses that will satisfy the 2 year foreign language requirement for graduation. American Sign Language is a unique language, with its own vocabulary, grammar, structure, and culture.   This blog has been created for all ASL students and will be updated weekly throughout the year.  We (your ASL teachers) will post calendar information, resources (videos, websites, articles), reminders, homework assignments and online discussions.

As your teachers, we are excited to work along side of you, and will be here to help with any questions, struggles or concerns you have.  However, we can't always be there when you have questions. The goal of the blog is to provide a place for you to go when you have questions about anything related to ASL, deaf culture, or even just as simple assignment!

This blog is a work in progress, and it is here for you!  Please feel free to help us improve the site and make it more useful!  Any suggestions, or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here's to a fantastic year filled with lots of learning, questioning, growing...and FUN!
